Scalera / Legal
Privacy Policy
How information is handled when you visit this website or contact Scalera.
Who we are
Scalera provides web, SEO, growth and AI services. This policy concerns information handled through the Scalera website and related enquiries. Personal information processed as part of a client engagement may also be subject to that engagement’s agreement and processing instructions.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, company, selected services, project details and any budget information included in your enquiry. We also receive the content of follow-up correspondence. Please do not submit confidential credentials or sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.
Contact and form submissions
The contact form sends your information to this website’s server for validation. The server forwards enquiry fields and a website source label to a configured Google Apps Script endpoint for processing. The endpoint operates outside this website’s codebase. Any records or notifications created by that script depend on its configuration; contact us for details about the current processing of your enquiry. The website itself does not implement a separate enquiry database.
Technical and usage information
Our server processes request information needed to receive and validate a submission, including its origin and content type. Hosting and delivery services may process connection information such as IP addresses, request times and error information to operate and protect the service. The application does not intentionally log enquiry contents; development diagnostics record controlled delivery-status information.
How information is used
We use enquiry information to respond, assess project fit, prepare proposals and manage related communications. We may also use relevant records to deliver an agreed service, resolve delivery problems, protect the website and meet applicable legal obligations.
Consent and other legal grounds
The form asks for your consent to contact you about your enquiry. You can choose not to submit it or ask us to stop further enquiry communications. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on your consent, steps you request before entering a contract, performance of an agreement or legal obligations. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already lawfully completed, and some records may need to be retained for other lawful reasons.
Service providers
Information is processed by the services needed to host the website, deliver enquiries and manage correspondence, including Google when the configured Apps Script handles a submission. Access should be limited to the purposes for which those services are used. We may disclose information where required by applicable law or necessary to address misuse and protect legal rights.
International processing
Depending on the location of our team and service providers, information may be processed outside your country, including in countries with different privacy laws. Contact us if you need details about processing locations or applicable safeguards before submitting personal information.
Data retention
Enquiry and engagement records are retained for the purposes described here, taking account of follow-up needs, contractual obligations and applicable legal requirements. This website does not implement an automatic retention or deletion schedule for the external Apps Script destination. You may ask us about the retention of your records or request deletion; legal or contractual requirements may limit what can be removed.
Security
The form uses server-side validation and forwards submissions to an HTTPS endpoint. Technical and organizational precautions should be proportionate to the information handled. No website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use an agreed secure channel for information that needs additional protection.
Cookies and analytics
The current website application does not include analytics trackers, advertising pixels or application-set cookies for visitor tracking. It does not implement behavioural advertising or a marketing tracking consent system. Third-party websites linked from this site operate under their own policies. If our use of tracking technologies changes, this notice and any required consent controls should be updated.
Marketing communications
Submitting a project enquiry is not a newsletter subscription. The current form does not enrol you in an automated marketing list. If you receive optional marketing communications from us, you can ask to stop them using the contact details below or the unsubscribe method provided.
Access, correction and privacy requests
Depending on applicable law, you may be able to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent or raise a concern about its use. Contact us with enough detail to locate the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity before acting and will explain any applicable limits on a request. You may also have the right to contact the relevant privacy regulator.
Third-party links
Portfolio links and other external resources take you to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies; linking to them does not mean we control their collection or use of information.
Children’s privacy
This website and its enquiry form are intended for business audiences, not children. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review the circumstances and arrange appropriate removal.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the website, our processing practices or relevant requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required, material changes will be communicated or additional consent requested.
Contact
For questions about this policy or a privacy request, contact Scalera at hello@scalera.agency. Please describe your request and provide a way for us to respond. Avoid including sensitive information that is not needed to address it.
